Every day I find a reason to smile. And when there is no reason, I
just look into the cutest and sweetest face I know, my Maltese Romeo, and I smile.
Smiling is the
easiest, yet at times hardest, thing to do. But did you know that smiling actually has many health benefits?
Smiling releases endorphins, natural painkillers, and serotonin. Together these three make us feel good. Smiling relieves
stress and boosts our immune system. Smiling even exercises the facial muscles that tend to droop as we get older...it's a
natural face lift!
Smiling has also been immortalized in a most beautiful song called Smile,
written by Charlie Chaplin whose career was devoted to making people smile, and sung by none other than Nat King Cole. So
if you find yourself thinking you have no reason to smile, put this song on, or look into Romeo's face and...smile!
